Research indicates that the negative effects of stress in our society are so bad that one out of every three individuals suffers from some type of mental illness. Truly, depression, alcoholism and drug addiction are epidemic today. Even if we are not one of the three, stress plays a terrible impact on our quality of life. But, it doesn't have to be that way. This enlightening and empowering program will help develop an understanding of stress and the impact that it has on our lives, based on a model developed by the University of St. Louis Medical School and the Coping and Stress Profile, we can see where our stress comes from and learn how to take positive action so that we can turn the negative effects of stress into powerful life forces.
