The Honor System; Lessons in Leadership & Attitude

A recent training survey conducted among American corporations asked what counts more; Employee aptitude, the hard skills and technical competencies or employee attitude, those softer skills of motivation, commitment and communication. Nearly 60% of those companies responding ranked attitude as the number one concern.

Coping with continuous changes: downsizing, rightsizing, re-engineering, team orienteering and diversity gearing, has left many people confused, fearful, suspicious and angry. As attitudes deteriorate, so do commitment, loyalty, and most importantly, performance.

True empowerment begins with seeing the possibilities, not just the problems. It means changing our perspectives both on ourselves and others. But change is risky. It means stepping out of the comfort zone and into the unknown. It requires mental stamina, courage and, yes, even some distress.

It's easier to stay the same, and that means repeating the past.

Saying yes to change opens up new opportunities and possibilities. Saying yes means to discover the power within you, the power to change your attitudes, your beliefs, your work, your relationships, your life. . .for the better!

This workshop based on self-discovery is a guided, time tested and life changing human relations program that will:

  • Transform negative attitudes into positives
  • Foster communication and team work
  • Overcome self-imposed limitations, fears and doubts
  • Inspire innovation and leadership
  • Develop effective goal setting and problem solving techniques
  • Create a climate of empowerment

Topics: Effective Listening; Developing Communication Skills; Attitude Awareness; Dealing With Emotions; Understanding People; Attitudes of Personal Empowerment; Creative Problem Solving; Team Building Strategies; Motivational Power; and Reaching Your Potential
